Accessory Fruits:
These fruits develop from a part other than the ovary, such as the receptacle or other floral parts.
Examples: Apple (where the flesh is derived from the receptacle), Strawberry (where the fleshy part comes from the receptacle), Pear (where the flesh forms from the floral tube).
Drupes:
These fruits have a fleshy outer part (exocarp) and a hard, stony pit (endocarp) containing the seed.
Examples: Peach, Cherry, Plum, Olive.
Berries:
These fruits have a soft and fleshy pericarp (wall) and typically contain multiple seeds.
