Singular	This is a cat. یہ ایک بلی ہے۔

جب آگے والےکو پہلے سے کسی چیز کا پتہ ہو

Singular	I like this. مجھے یہ پسند ہے۔
Plural	I like these. مجھے یہ سب پسند ہیں۔
Singular	I like that. مجھے وہ پسند ہے۔
Plural	I like those. مجھے وہ سب پسند ہیں۔

کسی کا تعارف کروانا ہو تو ۔۔

Singular	This is my friend Asim یہ میرا دوست عاصم ہے۔
Plural	These are my friends. یہ سب میرے دوست ہیں۔
Singular	Hello, this is Waqas speaking. is that Asim?
Plural	ہیلو، یہ وقاص بول رہا ہے۔ کیا یہ عاصم ہے؟
