1.

Adjective of quality/ descriptive 

وہ  لفظ جو کسی شخص کی خوبی، یا خامی کو بیان کرے۔

She is a nice girl.	وہ ایک اچھی لڑکی ہے۔
Ali is a brave boy.	علی ایک بہادر لڑکا ہے۔

2.

Adjective of quantity  

ایسے الفاظ جو کسی اسم کی مقدرا کو ظاہر کرے۔

I have much sugar.	میرے پاس بہت چینی ہے۔
She has enough water.	اسکے پاس کافی پانی ہے۔

 

3.

Adjective of number   

جو کسی اسم کی تعداد کو بیان کرے۔

I have two brothers.	میرے دو بھائی ہیں۔
Most girls are lazy.	اکثر لڑکیاں سست ہیں۔

 

 

4.

Demonstrative adjective

ایسے الفاظ جو اپنے بعد میں آنیوالے اسم کی طرف اشارہ کریں۔

That is my bag.	وہ میرا بیگ ہے۔
This is my house.	یہ میرا گھر ہے۔
These are my cats.	یہ سب میری بلیاں ہیں۔

وہ  الفاظ جو کسی کی ملکیت کو بتانے کےلیے یوز ہوں۔

The bike is ours.	بائیک ہماری ہے۔
That is my car.	وہ میری کار ہے۔
This is their house.	یہ گھر انکا ہے۔

Interrogative adjective

وہ الفاظ جو سوال پوچھنے کےلیے یوز ہوتے ہیں۔

Whose dog is this?	یہ کس کا کتا ہے؟
What is your name?	آپکا نام کیا ہے؟
Which books is yours?	آپکی کتاب کونسی ہے؟

 

7.

Comparative adjective

وہ الفاظ جو دو چیزوں میں موازنے کےلیے یوز ہوتے ہیں۔

My house is bigger than yours.	میرا گھر تمہارے گھر سے بڑا ہے۔
He is taller than me.	وہ مجھ سے اونچا ہے۔
The earth is larger than moon.	زمین چاند سے بڑی ہے۔

 

8.

Superlative adjective

وہ الفاظ جو کسی خصوصیت کو بتانے کےلیے یوز ہوں۔

I have the biggest house.	میرے پاس سب سے بڑا گھر ہے۔
She was the smartest girl.	وہ سب سے ذہین لڑکی تھی۔
He is the tallest man.	وہ سب سے لمبا آدمی ہے۔

Indefinite Adjectives

وہ الفاظ جو کسی خاص اسم یا ایم ضمیر کی طرف اشارہ نہ کریں۔

I have some money.	میرے پاس کچھ پیسے ہیں۔
She has any book.	اس کے پاس کوئی کتاب ہے۔
Every girl is silent now.	ہر لڑکی اب چُپ ہے۔
